All of us here who have seen the original NeverWet demo video that went viral a few years ago could not wait until the product is finally available for sale. You can now buy NeverWet off the shelf but like many, we are a bit disappointed that many of the demos that was shown on the viral video cannot be done using the actual final product.
Perhaps NeverWet had to make some compromises on the final product for manufacturing or cost purposes but it is ironic that we cannot have the NeverWet treated clothing and electronics that we were excited about because the final product clearly indicates that it is not intended to be applied to electronic devices or clothing. What a bummer.
The good news is that there is still a lot that you can do with NeverWet around the house. NeverWet’s website has a list of interesting items around the house that you can treat with NeverWet including your satellite dish (no more lost transmissions when raining), umbrella (stays dry all the time for no-mess storage), motorbike fender (no more mud stained fenders), underside of lawn mover (no more grass stuck to the underside) and much more.
NeverWet may not be the miracle product that we were all waiting for but it is still pretty neat.
