Normally we would want to keep our power strips well hidden and out of sight. However, the Oon Power Outlet designed by David Okum throws the traditional design of power strips right out the window and replaced it with something that wouldn’t look out of place in a toy room. The Oon Power Outlet consists of three electrical socket blocks enclosed in hard maple separated by three wooded spheres and all stringed up together with a 6 foot long premium quality cloth cord.
The Oon Power Outlet is not all looks. There is a reason for the modular blocks design. Each of the socket blocks are free to flex and rotate to conform to different situations. Furthermore, the wooden spheres provide lots of space between the outlets so you won’t be facing any problems with large power adapters getting in the way of neighboring outlets, a common problem with traditional power strips.
Best of all, you don’t need to figure out how to hide the Oon Power Outlet. Works of art aren’t meant to be hidden.
