The Robot LED Night Light is a little smarter than your average night light. Instead of having just a night light with a light sensor that stays on the entire night, this cute little night light adds a sound sensor to the mix.
When it is dark, the night light will only light up when it detects sound. This can be a clap or a shout. The Robot LED Night Light will automatically switch off the light after about 2 minutes. Thus you have a night light that saves energy by only lighting up at night when it is truly needed and not kept on for the entire night.
The other interesting feature about the Robot LED Night Light is that it has a built-in rechargeable battery that can be recharged using the included USB charger. This means that you can place the night light anywhere such as on the side table next to your child’s bed as it need not be plugged into a wall socket. The child can even hold on to it during the night.
Fully charged, the nightlight can work continuously for about 3.5 to 4 hours. Depending on how often it is switched on, it could mean months before it needs recharging.
